In addition to corporate sponsorship opportunities, individuals may also support LHC as a Leadership 500 sponsor – $500 for individuals employed by a for-profit business or $350 for retired individuals, or those who are employed by a non-profit (with less than 25 employees). NEW for the 2025-2026 year is the L500 Plus level, which provides access to all LHC events.

LHC’s Impact By The Numbers

In recognition of its 30th anniversary in 2016, LHC members made a collective commitment to sustain the legacy of Leadership Howard County for future participants. The LHC Board of Directors and the Premier Class of 2014 led the way in creating a 30th Anniversary campaign to ensure the future legacy of Leadership Howard County in these important ways:

• Ensures the availability of financial assistance primarily offered to nonprofits and small business owners
• Enables Leadership Premier and Leadership U to remain accessible to the full diversity of the community with affordable tuition.
• Sustains the value of the program for a growing membership base that will continue to make a positive impact on Howard County.

Each class since 2014 has committed to “Pay It Forward” with gifts that provide financial assistance to future LHC class members.

Leadership Howard County is one of the hundreds of community leadership programs across the country that strive to support active, engaged citizens and help communities thrive. Since the first class graduated in 1986, LHC has had an impressive impact: more than 1,600 graduates have completed the Premier program, and it is estimated that LHC alumni have volunteered more than 85,000 hours of support to Howard County nonprofits – equal to an investment of more than $2.8 million in our community.
