Leadership Howard County supports two adult programs: Leadership Premier for senior-level business and community leaders and Leadership Essentials (in collaboration with Loyola University Maryland) for emerging leaders.

An important component of both the Leadership Premier and Essentials programs is the Community Impact Project (CIP). Program participants work together in teams with a host organization for a limited amount of time, addressing an organizational challenge or strategic issue. A CIP is identified by a host organization – typically a nonprofit organization or government entity, and class participants research and propose creative, sustainable solutions. This experience is designed to be mutually beneficial for the organization and our participants, helping them gain a better understanding of community needs and a deeper appreciation for community involvement.

The deadline for FY25 CIP Applications has been extended to Monday, June 24, and are available HERE.
