    As part of this experience, participants will have the opportunity to see inside one of the highest-volume trauma centers in the nation and witness firsthand what it’s like for the 6,500 severely injured and critically ill people who come through the R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center each year. The experience includes a guided tour of the trauma tower, with access to the intensive care units, the Trauma Resuscitation Unit, and (weather and clinical operations permitting) the helipad.
