This visit will provide an inside look at H Mart, the largest Asian supermarket chain in the United States. Founded in 1982 in Queens, NY, H Mart has grown into a nationally recognized grocery destination known for high-quality Asian and international foods. During this visit, participants will learn about H Mart’s growth and it’s role in serving diverse communities, explore how large-format international grocery retail operates, discuss leadership, entrepreneurship, and community impact.

Participants will also get the unique opportunity to see how multiple small businesses operate within and alongside a larger anchor retailer. Please wear comfortable shoes. The store will be open to the public during this tour so please be mindful. Meet Mr. Soo Park at the entrance.
