Alumni 2.0: UMMS Shock Trauma Center
UMMS - Shock Trauma Center 640 W. Lombard Street, Baltimore, MD, United StatesAs part of this experience, participants will have the opportunity to see inside one of the highest-volume trauma centers in the nation and witness firsthand what it’s like for the 6,500 severely injured and critically ill people who come through the R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center each year. The experience includes a guided tour of the trauma tower, with access to the intensive care units, the Trauma Resuscitation Unit, and (weather and clinical operations permitting) the helipad. Along the way, participants will learn about Shock Trauma’s history, mission, vision, and the defining characteristics that
