Participants should dress comfortably and be prepared to get your steps in as the campus covers a good amount of space! Join Leadership Howard County for our inaugural "Service Friday", September 8 from  10 am to noon, with efforts to benefit Prepare for Success to assemble back packs with needed supplies for students in grades K through 12.    There are many ways members may participate from donating supplies, or funds to purchase supplies (from August 7 through September 6), or volunteering time to assemble backpacks at The Rouse Exhibit Center, located at 10215 Wincopin Circle, Suite 200, Columbia.  Please note that the Exhibit Center is NOT a drop-off location; only an assembly site. LHC Service Friday

LHC's next Service Friday will take place Friday, October 20, in conjunction with LU's 3D HC event. Dig Deep and Discover Howard County is an experiential service-learning activity that allows for small groups (10-12) of Leadership U students to gain exposure and insight into a community host organization. Volunteers will help chaperone small groups of LU 2024 students while getting to learn about and help out some of our area's terrific non-profit organizations - Patapsco State Park, Howard EcoWorks at St. Peter's Episcopal Church, and the Therapeutic & Recreational Riding Center.
