The Museum of Howard County History 9421 Frederick Road, 2nd FL, Ellicott City, MDThe Howard County Historical Society is a private non-profit that is the primary repository of all historical documents, books, photos, maps, and artifacts from our county's rich history. The society has 3 museums as well as a historical center and archives at the Miller Branch of the HCLS. The Archives at the Miller Branch Library maintains an enormous collection of materials related to the history of HC, with primary source documents dating to the 18th century.
