Active (dues-paid) members are invited to join LHC's current LP '25 class members for additional experiential learning about some of our community's unique features. May 2, 10 to 11 a.m.: UMMS - Shock Trauma Center Participants will receive an overview of Shock Trauma, including its history, key policies, and protocol. Attendees will have the opportunity to walk through the Intermediate Care Unit (ICU), and weather/workflow permitting, the helipad. Sign-Up to attend.

May 23, 9 to 11 a.m.: CEI Freetown Farm In 2019, the Community Ecology Institute purchased a 6.4-acre organic farm in our hometown of Columbia, Maryland.  This effort was largely made possible by the work and continued involvement of a LHC CIP project team.   CEI has diligently worked to protect this beautiful land from housing development and are restoring the farm using regenerative agriculture, creating a vibrant place of common ground
