Grassroots Crisis Intervention Center provides 24-hour crisis intervention, suicide prevention, shelter, and outreach services to individuals and families experiencing a personal, situational, mental health or shelter crisis. Grassrootscrisis.org

  • Donate non-perishable food to the Day Resource Center Food Pantry
  • Prepare a meal for the shelter with a group of friends (51 people)
  • Donate gas cards to the Crisis Center for people living in cars
  • Donate new/gently used men’s sneakers to the Day Resource Center

Howard County Public School’s Homewood Center houses three distinct programs, each designed to meet the specific needs of individual students who have difficulty functioning in traditional classroom settings. hc.hcpss.org
