Leadership Howard County is one of the hundreds of community leadership programs across the country that strive to support active, engaged citizens and help communities thrive. Since the first class graduated in 1986, LHC has had an impressive impact: more than 1,275 graduates have completed the Premier program, and it is estimated LHC alumni have volunteered more than 80,000 hours of support to Howard County nonprofits – equal to an investment of more than $2 million in our community.
