Leadership Howard County, which seeks to empower leaders to strengthen and transform the community, announced the commencement of the 33rd Leadership Premier class on Tuesday, June 11, 2019, at Ten Oaks Ballroom in Clarksville.

Leadership Premier Graduates for 2019 include: Saman Akhtar, Ajit Apte, Charlie Camp, Kelly Cimino, Jon Cohen, Mimi Cuddy Mierwza, Patrick Curtis, Matthew DeGourse, Fred Eikenberg, Felicia Fleming, Talia Fletcher, Chris Frink, Shawn Gladden, Ayesha Holmes, Eleanor Hunt, Celestinah Iibironke, Meg Ignacio, Saji Ijiyemi, Janet Irvin, Mike Kalinock, Tonya Kennon, Peter Laanisto, Marcy Leonard, Nannette Livadas, Kelly McLaughlin, Tracey Millings, Nicholas Mooneyhan, Sherifah Munis, Dan Nail, Raf Olazagasti, Paul Papagjika, Richard Pardoe, Jason Peay, Stephanie Porter, James Sanders, Cindy Sandler, Rick Silver, Jean Svacina, Jason Van Kirk, Maria Angelica Vargas and Craig Wyatt.

Also honored were Leadership Howard County’s 2019 award recipients: Ananta Hejeebu, Distinguished Alumni; Tom Burtzlaff, Unsung Hero; and Phyllis Madachy, Leadership Legacy Award.

Graduates and award recipients were recognized at Leadership Howard County’s annual dinner with title sponsor M&T Bank; annual event sponsor Corporate Office Properties Trust; and partner sponsors Howard County General Hospital, a member of Johns Hopkins Medicine, and Howard Tech Advisors.
