Leadership Howard County kicked off their program year with a general membership breakfast on Friday, September 7, featuring Dr. Redonda Miller, the 11th president in the 129-year history of The Johns Hopkins Hospital.

“Reinventing Healthcare for the 21st Century: Using Innovation to Adapt to an Ever-changing Landscape,” was the focus of Dr. Miller’s presentation which included sharing some of her milestones and memorable moments from her 30-year tenure with Johns Hopkins as well as the need for the hospital—and all health care institutions—to think “outside the box” to meet the 21st century needs of both their patients and the communities that surround them.
