Minah Woo, LP '20 & LE '17, LHC Board Member, and HCC Vice President of Workforce, Innovation, and Strategic Partnerships, will share with us how the WDTC will not only address the critical workforce challenges in skilled trades today but will also create a more equitable future for all students by creating more opportunities and educational pathways.

Visit the Johns Hopkins Applied Physics lab where staff will showcase the newest STEM research and development initiatives encompassing the areas of space, artificial intelligence, machine learning, and more. LHC’s May Service Friday (on a Sunday)!

  We are looking forward to partnering with The Columbia Jewish Congregation and Rebuilding Together Howard County in May for "Service Sunday" on May 19 from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. [ two shifts will be offered during this time [A.M. - 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. or P.M. - 12:30 to 3 p.m.].    Some of the tasks we will be taking on include painting, landscaping - mulching - planting, manual labor, etc. Donations are also being accepted for this endeavor; if you are interested in helping to support our project work, please click here
