LEAD 101 – Skills for Life Workshop Series

This new, interactive workshop will equip students with the leadership and interpersonal skills critical for success today, and in the future.  Offered over 3 sessions, students will learn presentation skills and practical tips to hone and strengthen leadership skills through a series of small and large group activities, videos and discussions. 

Session Topics will be as follows: 

Session 1 (February 7):   Qualities, Values, and Skills of a Leader & Networking 

Session 2  (February 21):   Business Etiquette & Effective Communication 

Session 3 (February 28) Goal Setting, Active Listening, Feedback & Decision Making 

 

  • Please note that all sessions will run from 3 to 5 pm and be conducted LIVE using Zoom. 
  • Students will need a laptop, desktop, or tablet with a camera and microphone to participate in this program and will be expected to have their video cameras on in order to fully benefit from the program. 
  • This program is limited to 25 participants and  is geared to high school junior or seniors; past Leadership U program participants are excluded from participating in this workshop.
