Post-Secondary Education in a Changing Labor Market” at the Federal Reserve Bank

This annual economic update/breakfast is open to area leadership programs and will focus on “Post-Secondary Education in a Changing Labor Market: The Risks and Rewards to Alternative Pathways” featuring Alex Marré, a regional economist at the Baltimore branch of the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond.

Alex will provide an overview of the latest data and research on the risks and rewards to post-secondary education and how they are changing in today’s labor market. The discussion will include the future of jobs and skill requirements, trends in the costs of alternative workforce training paths, and barriers to good skills and employment matches in the labor market.
