The Leadership experience gave me the foundation and understanding of the County I needed to be an effective leader for Grassroots. Over the years, as an active member I have continued to use the Leadership network to get things done and cultivate professional relationships with business and government leaders. I also enjoy contributing to each new class as a way of sharing what I have learned with emerging community leaders.
Leadership Howard County has raised my awareness of the challenges facing our community and helped me find ways to give back. It has opened the door to new business opportunities, and led to relationships with those who share a vision of making Howard County the best it can be.
Membership dues are renewed annually in August at the beginning of the program year. Be sure your membership is current so you can continue to receive full access to the member benefits, and support the work of Leadership in the community.
Inactive members (who have not paid dues in more than two years) may become active members at any time by paying the current year's dues.

The Fund for the Future is an endowment fund that provides financial assistance for Leadership Premier participants. Your support will help ensure the inclusion of participants from diverse backgrounds and businesses, and sustain the value of the program into the future.
Contribute to the Leadership Fund for the Future
The Leadership U Endowment Fund provides financial assistance to qualified high school students for the Leadership U program. This is a 6-month program for high school juniors that fosters leadership skills and provides an opportunity for direct and meaningful community service.
