Our many employees and Board members who have graduated from Leadership Howard County have played major roles in supporting the hospital's mission, leading change both within our organization and throughout the community. Since 1985, Leadership Howard County has provided innovative programs designed to empower and connect community leaders, and keep them engaged in the critical issues facing Howard County and our region. Drawn from private businesses, nonprofits and the public sector, Leadership participants share a common interest in learning more about their community. Each class consists of experiential activities, forums, and meetings with prominent leaders and key decision makers, enabling participants to know themselves, each other and Howard County in new ways. The leadership skills and friendships made along the way are invaluable, leading to countless opportunities to strengthen and transform the community.
