The annual tradition of the Special Olympics Maryland Torch Run continued in Howard County as law enforcement officials and athletes carried the Flame of Hope through the streets of Columbia.

The torch is carried through towns across Maryland, leading up to the Opening Ceremony on June 5 in Towson.
