Leadership Howard County has raised my awareness of the challenges facing our community and helped me find ways to give back. It has opened the door to new business opportunities, and led to relationships with those who share a vision of making Howard County the best it can be.
Leadership Howard County provided me with important insights into the strong partnerships that make this a community I’m proud to serve. These relationships help us develop better solutions to community challenges.
Diane joined LHC in 2009. She is responsible for the overall planning and implementation of Leadership U, LHC’s leadership program for high school students.
Diane has more than 15 years of senior level management and professional experience in the areas of training and development, project management and human resources, working with several Columbia-based firms including Rockpointe, Columbia MedCom Group and Ryland Mortgage Company. She has served on the boards of several organizations including Temple Isaiah, and Atholton High School PTSA, and is an active volunteer with numerous Columbia-based groups. Her knowledge of the community, combined with a passion for working with youth, has enabled Diane to continue building one of the premier youth leadership programs in Maryland.
