LHC's Class of 2006 is honored as The 2008 Best Class Ever! [enlarge] |
BEST CLASS EVER Each year, Leadership Premier classes compete for the honor of Best Class Ever. Classes can gain points by attending LHC events throughout the year, submitting their dues, participating in a community service project, or organizing a fun class event. The intention of the gatherings must be to promote LHC dues renewal, active LHC membership, and demonstrate an effort to stay connected to one another.
Board Bank The Volunteer Center Serving Howard County, the Association of Community Services (ASC), and Leadership Howard County have created a joint venture to connect individuals with volunteer leadership positions on local non-profit and governmental boards, commissions, and committees. Leadership periodically receives requests for individuals who can help in areas such as marketing, public relations and organizational planning and operation. If you are an organization interested in being listed in the Board Bank, please complete this form. If your organization would like to request participation, please complete this form. If you would like to be considered as a board or committee member, please complete this form.
Leadership Buddy Program To keep Leadership Howard County participants active, we have launched a host program to pair up members of the most recent graduating class with other alumni. Once paired up, members are expected to attend at least two Leadership events together. If you are interested in being a host, click here.
Meetings and Forums Leadership Howard County conducts many regular meetings and forums for graduates and other members of the community to meet and learn about issues or resources in the community. These include bi-monthly luncheons from September to May, a biennial issues forum in the spring and our annual Big Event, typically held in March or April.
